Will a peel make my skin peel visibly?
Light peels typically cause no visible peeling — just smoother, glowing skin. Medium peels may cause mild flaking for 3–5 days. Deep peels involve more substantial shedding over 7–14 days. We’ll prepare you for exactly what to expect at your peel depth.
Is it safe for Indian / darker skin tones?
Yes, with the right formulation. We carefully select acid types and concentrations suitable for your Fitzpatrick skin type. We avoid aggressive formulas on darker tones and always conduct a patch test first.
How many sessions do I need?
For mild pigmentation or glow, 3 light peels spaced 3–4 weeks apart can produce excellent results. For acne scars or deep pigmentation, a 6-session course of mixed depths is recommended.
Can I wear makeup after a peel?
After a light peel, you can apply light, non-comedogenic makeup the next day. After medium or deep peels, we recommend a makeup-free period of 5–10 days to allow proper skin healing.
What should I avoid before my peel?
Stop using retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, or vitamin C serums 5 days before. Avoid sun exposure and waxing 1 week before. Come with a clean, makeup-free face on the day.
