Should I treat active acne or scars first?
Active acne first — always. Treating scars while breakouts are ongoing leads to new scar formation and poor results. We control your acne within 4–8 weeks before beginning scar treatment.
Can deep acne scars be completely removed?
Significant improvement is achievable — deep icepick scars can improve by 50–70% with fractional laser and TCA CROSS. Rolling and boxcar scars respond even better. Complete removal is not possible but the improvement is transformative.
Is the treatment safe for hormonal acne?
Yes — we investigate hormonal drivers (blood tests, thyroid, androgens) and combine dermatological management with medical therapy where indicated. Hormonal acne without hormonal management tends to relapse.
